ESL Vision was born from curiosity, friendship, and a problem to solve. Long-time friends and entrepreneurs, Mike Gleeson and Jeff Provolt, started experimenting with LED tape light and quickly recognized a broader opportunity: the lighting industry needed practical, energy-efficient solutions designed with the installer in mind.

Working out of a basement, Mike and Jeff listened to electricians, engineers, and end-users—learning what slowed them down, what cost them time, and what they actually needed on the job. They built to solve real problems. That mindset is still in our DNA today.

In just over a decade, ESL Vision has grown from a scrappy startup to a nationally recognized lighting brand—complete with multiple warehouses, on-site assembly teams, and one of the fastest turnaround times in the industry.

In 2024, we were honored to be named one of the Top 100 Companies in Utah by MountainWest Capital Network. It’s a reflection of our team’s relentless dedication to innovation, problem-solving, and putting our customers first.

But even with scale, our startup spirit remains. We continue to ask questions, build smart, ship fast, and stand behind everything we do.
