The CleanBeam VaporTight is built around a UV-stabilized, 5VA flame-rated fiberglass housing sealed with a closed-cell polyurethane PIP gasket — rated IP67 for full dust exclusion and temporary immersion, and NEMA 4X for the corrosive washdown chemicals, CIP agents, and caustic foams that define food processing environments. The NSF-certified finish and sealed fiberglass housing resist corrosion and chemical degradation from sanitation agents — maintaining material integrity in food zone environments over the long term.

An injection-molded acrylic lens — available in clear or 88% frosted for glare control — is rated IK08 for impact resistance and UV-stabilized to prevent yellowing over time. The lens interfaces directly with the PIP gasket under consistent, designed-in compression, maintaining the IP67 seal even after repeated impact and aggressive high-pressure washdowns. High-transmission acrylic maximizes lumen delivery while the fully sealed optical chamber blocks moisture, dust, and chemical ingress at the source — keeping output consistent across the full rated life without maintenance intervention.
